When an employee opens their timecard for the first time in a day, they are automatically clocked in.
If iBeacons are in use, eRouting will automatically detect the employee in front of the iPad, otherwise the user uses the iPad camera to scan their barcoded badge.
Employees classified as “shop”, must be punched into an activity in order to stay clocked in, otherwise they will be prompted to clock out. Up to six, indirect activities can be set up for employees to punch into when not punched into a job.
